語源
「unfreeze」は現代英語で、否定・逆転を表す接頭辞「'un-'」と動詞「'freeze'（古英語 'frēosan'）」を結合してできた語です。
『freeze』は古英語の『frēosan』（凍る）に由来し、現代英語の生産的な接頭辞『un-』が付加されて『unfreeze』（凍結を解除する）になりました。
